Scientific and clinical research has proven that Neurofeedback is a very effective therapy to improve the symptoms of people within the spectrum of autism. You can see improvements first of all in interpersonal and social relationships. Communication is also favored. Better recognition of others’ emotions and much more spontaneity. The isolation is also improved, there is a greater participation in family, school activities. Anxiety and frustration are also reduced considerably.
In our office we receive many people within the autism spectrum. After a few sessions’ parents begin to notice changes in them. Their first report is that levels of anxiety decrease so frustration also starts decreasing. Start to improve the sleep, which benefits all family members. They become less aggressive, more talkative and more spontaneous. According to the same parents they report, “it is as if they were connected to the world”.
