“From the moment I committed myself to the therapy I noticed a big improvement in my sleep”
“As soon as I lay down, I disconnect immediately…I definitely have much more energy”
“To be clear, the therapy will not make you stronger, but will rather make you more resistant because you rest better”
I run and participate in triathlons: cycling, swimming and running. I began doing Neurofeedback but I was not consistent with my visits at first. Because of this, I did not feel many effects. However, I did feel relaxed every time I attended a session. I viewed the therapy more as an hour for me to relax. I did not have many expectations that this would help me improve at sports. I completed a total of 12 sessions but in an irregular way.
Sometime later, Neotherapy offered me the opportunity to attend regular sessions as part of a study they wanted to do about athletes. I do many long distances races like ultramarathons, that require very demanding training, a big part of which is rest and demanding training. I committed myself to the therapy and I noticed a big improvement in my sleep.
After two weeks of neurofeedback I felt that I was sleeping much better. As soon as I lay down, I disconnect immediately. This is very important for me because the times that I get to rest are very short. By the fourth session, I began to sleep deeply and felt like I was truly rested. When an athlete dedicates himself to complete a very demanding physical activity, with time goals, etc that physical effort has a daily wear. You have to recover quickly and the way to do that is to rest. I definitely have much more energy now.
I would recommend this to those who practice any sport that needs special recovery. I am referring to those who train for many hours every day. To be clear, the therapy will not make you stronger, but will rather make you more resistant because you rest better. Sports require much mental strength.
I never felt anything strange because of the electrodes. I always felt very comfortable. Each session was like a gift to me.
